Care Of Your Teacup Puppy
There is a lot to consider before buying a teacup size poodle.
American Kennel Cub (AKC) only recognizes three sizes:
Standard - over 15 inches at the shoulder, Miniature- between
10 and 15 inches at shoulder, and Toy- 10 inches and under so
all Teacup and Tiny Toys are registered as Toy size.
Poodle breeders have their own standards.  Most generally the
rule is under 8 inches and 4 lbs. and under.  Believe me a four
LB dog is SMALL.
Another thing you might not realize about the teacup size is
that  they are the smallest babies of the litter.  It is almost
impossible to tell which babies will stay teacup or smaller size
when they are first born and when we can finally estimate a
size it is only educated guess.  A lot depends on parents,
grandparents and earlier siblings.   The smaller the puppy the
more attention from the breeder.  I can tell you it is a 24-hour/7
day a week commitment for us but these beautiful babies are
worth every moment it takes.

I don't believe there is any thing as adorable as a teacup size
dog.  These ultra small bodies pack in so much love and
commitment.  These babies were meant to be companions-
they just live to be with you! (And they fit nicely in a large
handbag)  You must be very careful because tiny bones could
break from a fall or jump. Something a low as your couch could
seem as high as a mountain when you are 6" tall, another
concern is keeping the little ones from being stepped on.  If
you have small size children or just very active kids you would
be better off with a larger size puppy.

Another thing you need to do is to watch closely for signs of
low blood sugar or dehydration; you have to be sure your baby
eats often because it can hold only a small amount at a time.
You will need to make sure she eats and drinks regularly, no
matter what it takes to get her interested!

The smaller the size of puppy - the more the price.

If you haven't given up yet then "Congratulations!" You will
make a great parent for a micro sized baby!

Now for the best news.  These babies are bred to be extra
sweet and loving!  We have only what we believe is the best
healthy, happy, loving and beautiful for our moms and dads.
We have tiny dads that come from even smaller dads so we
produce some pretty small babies.
Teacups like all poodles must be groomed.  Regular hair
brushing plus trips to the groomer for frequent trims is
absolutely necessary.     It’s important to keep ears clean and
toenails clipped.  Your groomer will take care of that for you.
Another important task is brushing your teacups teeth. I had a
problem finding a tiny dog toothbrush so I use an infant size.
Very small dogs have trouble regulating their temperatures.
You’ll want to make sure your baby doesn't get excessively hot
or cold.
An average teacup lives 12-15 years  So your baby will be with
you for a long time!
With love and care you should have a special companion for a
long time!
